Biography
Shura Sasaki began studying violin at the age of three in his native Japan. After completing high school, he moved to the U.S. to continue his study of the violin under Paul Stein of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. He was later awarded a scholarship to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where he served as concertmaster while completing his Bachelor’s of Music degree under the tutelage of renowned teacher Linda Rose.

Mr. Sasaki has been a member of several symphony orchestras around Southern California, including the Downey Symphony, Long Beach Ballet, and Opera Pasadena. He is also an active composer/arranger and continues to perform with several chamber music groups. His students participate in the MTAC Certificate of Merit Evaluations and The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Certificate Program.
